Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Search Engine Marketing Specialist with strong expertise in Google Ads and SEO to support several established client accounts. This is an ideal opportunity for a freelancer, consultant, or small agency owner who already manages their own clients and wants to add a few additional accounts—without the burden of sales, proposals, contracts, collections, or account management administration.

This is not a full-time role, but a long-term contract partnership opportunity with flexibility and room to grow.

We are looking for a dependable, personable professional who can confidently represent our agency in client meetings, provide strategic guidance, and collaborate as a trusted partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, YouTube, and Performance Max
  • Assist with launching new campaigns, ad groups, ads, and targeting strategies
  • Participate in client Zoom meetings (1 hour, 2–3 times per month) to discuss performance and strategy
  • Confidently answer client questions regarding SEM, SEA, SEO, and lead generation
  • Monitor account performance, proactively identify issues, and recommend improvements
  • Maintain strong optimization scores, ad quality scores, and account health
  • Develop effective ad copy and provide landing page recommendations
  • Manage ad budgets ranging from $2,000 to $30,000+ monthly
  • Support or advise team members implementing campaign tasks
  • Assist with SEO strategy and optimization for WordPress websites
  • Set up and manage Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking goals
  • Manage Google Grant Ads accounts in compliance with nonprofit requirements

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing Google Ads accounts with measurable success
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices, especially for WordPress websites
  • Experience generating leads for healthcare, nonprofit, or service-based businesses
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Professional, confident, and client-facing demeanor
  • Highly dependable and responsive
  • Strategic mindset with proactive problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating your own freelance business or agency
  • Ability to whitelist your agency for shared client relationships if needed
  • Familiarity with Google’s automation strategies including Maximize Conversions and Broad Match
  • Experience collaborating in a white-label or agency partnership environment
