Graphic Design Intern

D Media is seeking a part-time creative assistant for one of our busy graphic designers. Ideal candidate possesses a good eye for design, attention to detail, and strong sense of quality execution. Position entails completing print layouts, producing comps/PDF proofs, photo scanning, image editing, creating website designs, updating client websites, meeting deadlines, researching specs (ink colors, paper, print process) for projects, researching stock photos/art, and organizing and archiving art files. Involves 60% print work and 40% Web work. Must have at least 6 months training in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver in a Mac environment. WordPress knowledge is a plus.

Part-time opening (Mon-Thu mornings, will consider school/other job schedules), 10-15 hours per week at the designer’s home office in north Plano.
